Our story

We’re Linda and Indira, two friends doing our best to keep family life running smoothly while wearing all the hats life throws our way. We are wives, mothers, daughters, and businesswomen, each caring for our aging parents while raising kids across generations, from Alpha and Gen Z to Millennials. Some are athletes, some are picky eaters, some have allergies, and all of them want snacks and shakes that differ from our own preferences.  

The result? Very cluttered pantries. In the middle of it all, we were searching for something simple to keep ourselves strong, balanced, and feeling our best.

Linda grew up in Ecuador, where Andean chocho “The Pearl of the Andes” was simply part of everyday life around the table. She continued this culinary tradition with her own family in the United States, introducing the food to friends, including Indira. The moment we shared Andean chocho together, something clicked.

Why not use chocho powder instead of all the miscellaneous protein powders, bars, and supplements filling our cabinets?

Our kids, teens, young adults, and husbands had more energy for sports and daily activities. We felt fuller for longer without the sugar crashes, and our baby boomer parents felt stronger and more nourished.
